The OCCP has launched a leniency programme for participants of unlawful competition restricting agreements (cartels). The leniency programme related to enterprises which notify the OCCP of their participation in a collusion, provide information on the other entities involved, present evidence instrumental in the antimonopoly proceedings and cooperate with the OCCP.
Based on Article 109 of the Act of 16 February 2007 on competition and consumer protection, enterprises which decide to cooperate with the Office may be awarded reduced fines or even avoid any sanctions altogether.
