President's competence in the field of international cooperation
The OCCP President’s competence comprises co-operation with international bodies and organisations as well as fulfillment of international obligations of the Republic of Poland in the field of competition and consumer protection.
The OCCP’s President engages in co-operation with the European Commission and in particular with the Directorate-General for Competition, Health and Consumer Protection, Enterprise and Industry, Information Society and Media, Internal Market and Services as well as the Council of European Union, European Parliament and the European Economic and Social Committee. The President also co-operates with antimonopoly agencies and state institutions dealing with competition and consumer protection in many countries.
The co-operation also embraces activities in the framework of a network associating state institutions for competition protection of the member countries of the European Economic Area (ECA), the European Competition Network (ECN) and the International Competition Network (ICN).
