New vice-president of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection

The Prime Minister Beata Szydło appointed Michał Holeksa to a post of Vice-President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

Michał Holeksa graduated from law at Lazarski University and in 2012 he completed his post-graduate studies in the area of management in public administration at KoĽminski University.

Since 2000 he has been employed in public administartion. He worked in the Office of War Veterans and Victims and in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland. Between 2016-2017 he was the Director of the Executive Office in the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection and was also a member of the Inter-departamental Adjudication Comission for cases of infringement of the public finances regime associated with the Minister of Justice in matters concerning public finance breaches at the Ministry of Justice.

He is married, has three children.

The Prime Minister Beata Szydło designated Michał Holeksa to a post of the Vice-President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection on the 28th of August 2017. He will be responsible for the competition protection.

Under the Protection of Competition and Consumers Act the Vice-Presidents of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection are appointed by the Prime Minister via open and competitive recruitment procedure.
